COMMUNITY FAMILY HEALTH CENTRES
A 6,400 square foot Community Family Health Centre with space for six physicians is planned to open its doors by late fall of 2010. It will be located in Thornbury (Town of The Blue Mountains) and will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and computer systems including electronic charting (Electronic Records Management/ERM systems). Negotiations are ongoing to include a pharmacy, physiotherapy clinic and outpatient lab.
There is presently a need for four additional physicians to join this clinic.
A similar Health Centre is planned for the Municipality of Meaford. Completion is expected to be sometime in 2012.
